Superfoods

You see this word all over nowadays – But what is a superfood?

It’s a nutrient-rich food considered to be especially beneficial for health and well-being. Of course there are so called superfoods that are extremely beneficial for one individual, that can cause damage to another individual. For example if your body reacts sensitive or even allergic to pineapple, then you shouldn’t eat it! Regardless of the known health benefits pineapples are known for.

Some of my favorite superfoods deserve to mentioned (listed in no specific order):

  1. Apples
  2. Ginger
  3. Tumeric
  4. Avocados
  5. Sweet Potatoes
  6. Broccoli
  7. Almonds or Almond Butter
  8. Dark Leafy Greens
  9. Coconut (Shred, Meat, Flour, Oil, Butter, Yoghurt!)
  10. Hemp Seeds
  11. Celery
  12. Flax
  13. Oats
  14. Oranges
  15. Cacao
  16. Wild Berries
